First of all, can we all take a moment to appreciate this beautiful packaging? Heart-eyed emojis all over the place.
The Jet Lag Mask's main purpose is to hydrate the skin, and it does just that. When I purchased this mask, I had seen reviews about a massive change in the way people see skin care. Glowing, soft skin that looked healthy and plump was the goal. For travel gurus it was a life saver, but I wanted to see the benefits of the mask even if I wasn't traveling all the time.
I've never used a mask before that could be applied to so many different areas of a skincare or even makeup routine. Leaving the mask on for 10 minutes then rinsing it off was the initial way it was advertised, so when I bought the mask that's what I tried first. I didn't see or feel a huge difference, but I had seen people on instagram use it as an overnight mask instead. I used my regular cleanser then applied the mask and went to bed. I kid you not, my skin has never been so glowy in my entire life. It felt hydrated, my under eyes weren't as dark. Then I did my morning skin care routine and applied my makeup. You know sometimes when you apply makeup and from far away you look bomb af and then you look up close and your skin looks depleted and sad? Yeah, that doesn't happen with this mask. After using it as an overnight mask my makeup went on flawlessly. From then on I've been absolutely obsessed.
I use it on my lips along with some lip balm before I go to bed and I wake up with plump, hydrated lips. Or under my eyes before I apply concealer. Especially with the dry heat here in Denver, this mask has been a dream come true. If you've been seeing the buzz on this mask and wondering if it's worth the hype, I'm here to tell you that it is. If you don't buy it for its amazing benefits, at least buy it for the gorgeous packaging, you feel?
It's paraben, sulfate, and cruelty free along with being vegan and being made with no synthetic dyes to fragrances!
Hope you all are enjoying the summer! Stay hydrated, keep masking and treat yo-self.
